The journalist, 54, and father revealed that he had welcomed his second son via surrogate.
Cooper’s new son is named Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper.
Sebastian’s birth comes two years after Cooper’s first son Wyatt.
“He mostly just sleeps, and eats, and he certainly poops,” Cooper said on his CNN show.

Cooper is raising his two sons with former partner Benjamin Maisani.

The two split in 2018, Cooper still calls his former partner his best friend.
Cooper and Maisani welcomed their first child Wyatt Emory Cooper in 2020, via a surrogate.
On February 10, 2022 Cooper also announced that Maisani was in the process of adopting Wyatt so that his last name will also be Maisani Cooper.
