Recently, Ana Orsini, a young journalist, passed away, leaving her family and friends behind. Additionally, the news of her demise was broken down by the 13 News Channel, where she used to work.
Ana Orsini, the news anchor, passed away in December 2024 at just 28 years of age. Although 13 News Channel announced her passing on December 16th, 2024, they have not confirmed the exact date or cause of her demise.
This may be due to her family still being in shock from her loss and unable to address inquiries at this time. In addition, people have turned to social media to show their condolences to her family.
Similar to Ana’s family, her co-workers are still in shock. Furthermore, losing a person you have worked with for a long time must be very difficult to overcome. Many of her colleagues have shared their grief on social media.
Tyler from News 13 wrote, “Her zest for life was wonderful for be around. The unconditional love she had for her family was something I wish everyone could be blessed with. We are all so heartbroken over this sudden and unexpected loss.”

Moreover, according to one of Ana’s co-workers, Ashe Hajek, Orsini was a brave and strong woman. Hajek further shared that when she first met Ana, she was dressed from head to toe in pink. She also described Orsini as a woman who was not afraid to be herself.
Ana Orsini grew up in Colorado, then moved to a few different states before settling in Arizona!
Ana Orsini was born in 1996 and grew up in Denver, Colorado. Growing up, the journalist attended a local high school. Upon graduating, she decided to pursue higher education at Texas A&M University.
In 2018, she graduated from the institution with a degree in journalism. Additionally, earned a double minor in communication and sports management. After graduating, she started working as a news anchor in Lubbock, Texas.
While working there, she covered everything from Texas Tech basketball to a months-long investigation of a bridal shop scam. Moreover, one of her highlights was launching a “Pet of the Day” segment. During the segment, the journalist used to help local animal shelters.
Later, she moved to Medford, Oregon, to work for News Watch 12. During her time with the channel, she covered everything from major wildfires to helping animals find their homes. Similarly, she worked there for three years before deciding to make a switch.

In June 2023, Ana decided to join 13 News in Arizona. While working for the channel, she made many new friends. However, no one could have predicted that she would be gone so soon.
