Chris Holmstrom Biography
Chris Holmstrom is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist who is currently working as a weekend anchor and reporter at CBS2 and KCAL9. He joins CBS2 and KCAL9 from KOIN-TV where he worked as an anchor and reporter.
Switching to his educational background, he attended Breda University of Applied Sciences where he graduated in 2007 with a minor in International and Intercultural Communication. He also graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism in 2008 having joined the university in 2005.
He interned at KNAZ in Flagstaff, Arizona for less than a year before joining KNDU-TV. Chris joined KNDU-TV in July 2009 as a weekend anchor and reporter. He shot, wrote, and edited stories for the evening newscasts. However, he left the station in July 2011 for a similar position at KOLD/KMSB. He joined KOLD/KMSB in August 2011 but left in September 2013.
