Renowned WDSU meteorologist Devon Lucie was recently arrested in the early hours of Sunday, October 5. Police responded to a disturbance complaint involving Lucie and his partner after the altercation initially began at a festival in Gretna. Lucie’s partner accused her of abandoning her there without transportation, and upon her return home, she had to pry open the door because she didn’t have a key. Investigators reported that Lucie allegedly punched her several times before starting a physical struggle.
Deputies also reported having observed cuts, scratches, and bruises on her face and upper body. The children were reportedly asleep on the living room couch throughout the incident, which resulted in the child endangerment charge. Upon confrontation, Devon also refused to give officers his name and other details, which led to an additional charge of resisting an officer.

Patty Dinh is a Vietnamese-American pastry chef based in New Orleans and the wife of WDSU meteorologist Devon Lucie. Dinh grew up in Louisiana’s West Bank and later returned to her hometown to build her business. Although her exact age isn’t publicly listed, she is likely in her mid-30s to early 40s.
