Amanda Dugan is an American journalist who works as a morning traffic reporter for KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas. Dugan’s analytic abilities in reporting and anchoring programs have drawn a lot of creative criticism from the station’s traffic reporters.
Amanda began her career shortly after receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Texas State University, when she was chosen as America’s Next Top Co-Host and joined the popular morning show Orange Juice and Biscuits on KTSW-89.9 FM.
Less than two years after getting into radio, she launched her own morning show, Rise N Shine. Fortunately, five months after finishing her degree, she was named one of the Top 5 Finalists in the annual CW Star Search.
