Charles Bird wants to raise money by leading the hike up Croagh Patrick. He has a disease called motor neuron disease. He was born in Ireland on September 9, 1949, and works as a reporter and radio host. He is 72 years old right now.
He used to be involved in politics on the far left, and he also joined Young Socialists. At the beginning of the 1970s, he joined Official Sinn Féin. In 1973, he was the party’s director of elections in Dublin South-Central.
