Capalbo Strong was long-established in 2017 by (largely) Fairfield Prep hockey workforce moms to help Charlie Capalbo’s first battle with most cancers. Charlie has since fought most cancers twice (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and leukemia) and is presently stopping his third. Throughout his four-year journey, he shared his story gracefully and overtly, and continued to encourage the neighborhood and others alongside along with his positivity, humor, resilience and braveness.
Capalbo Strong is presently supporting him and his family and elevating consciousness about childhood most cancers. While Charlie was in remission, all funds raised went on to childhood most cancers charities, along with Child Life Services at Bost Children’s Hospital, the place he has been dealt with since 2018.
