After BabyStorme published her experience on TikTok, Citibank’s racial profiling video has gone viral on social media. On Tuesday, March 22, 2022, an event occurred at Citibank, 5000 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA.
A video of a young woman whose check was confiscated by the bank is circulating on the internet, with netizens seeking an explanation from Citibank.
As one of them put it, “Could you please explain why this little child was singled out for racial profiling? Do you want us to keep making you famous, or do you want us to stop?”

What happened at 5000 Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles?
Citibank at 5000 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles, according to Babystorme’s video, seized her check. In the footage, woman can be seen crying as she explains what happened to her in the bank.
Her father had mailed her a check for the following year’s rent, she claimed. So she went to the bank to cash her check, but it was taken away from her and refused to be returned.
The employee stated that they were unable to validate the check and hence could not cash it. Despite her request to call her father to verify the check, the worker refused, claiming that they were unable to do so and that the check would be seized.
They then get to their feet and call the cop.
