The fifth season of Netflix’s Selling Sunset arrived on the platform a few days ago (22 April 2022), and fans have been working their way through it. One of the more startling revelations – for some at least – was that Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim had picked out a name for their potential baby – does she have one?
A brief rundown of Chrishell’s dating history
Terrina Chrishell Stause, whose work as a real estate agent Selling Sunset showcases, lives her life in the limelight.
Her first engagement (from 9 December 2006) was with actor, singer-songwriter and dancer Matthew Morrison.
But she broke off their engagement in 2007 and stated that was due to her believing “he was seeing other people and just wasn’t ready to fully commit”.

Stause later dated Justin Hartley. The couple became engaged in July 2016 and married on 28 October 2017. However, Hartley filed for divorce in November 2019, citing irreconcilable differences.
Her most recent romantic relationship was with Selling Sunset co-star and boss Jason Oppenheim. It ended in December 2021, but as the latest season of the reality TV show revealed, they came up with a name for their “fictitious child”, in case Chrishell Stouse became pregnant and they decided to keep the baby.
Does Chrishell Stause have a baby?
No. She does not have any children.
But the reality TV star and real estate agent told Jason Oppenheim’s mother Deborah in It’s Getting Personal that she and Jason “talked about it a lot”.
“I know I want to be a mum,” Chrishell said. “We even came up with a name for our… fictitious child. Her name is Maverick.”

For Jason’s part, he could see himself as a father but recognised the size of the commitment.
Stause and Oppenheim separated just five months after going public with their romance, US Weekly reported in December 2021.
So despite what any episodes of season 5 of Selling Sunset might suggest, Chrishell Stause is not pregnant with Jason Oppenheim’s child, and does not have a baby.
How much does Stause get from appearing on Selling Sunset?
Real estate agents’ pay cheques depend at least in part on the value of the properties they sell.
Marketing agency Evoluted reportedly calculated Chrishell Stause’s total commission from seasons one, two and three of Selling Sunset as $539,670, of which she took home $404,752.

Stylecaster adds that, since she’s relatively new to the brokerage, “it’s possible she receives a smaller percentage of every commission” than her co-stars. But she also likely receives remuneration for simply appearing on the show.
Celebrity Net Worth lists Chrishell’s net worth as $5 million, although it may be higher. She and Justin Hartley apparently spent $4.65 million between them to buy a new build in Encino, California. And two years later, she spent $3.3 million on a home in the Hollywood Hills.
