Chairman of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) in Borno, Mohammed Mustapha, has said the social gathering has registered over two million members and supporters throughout the state.
Mustapha said in Maiduguri on Sunday that the social gathering could also be very trendy in Borno and is now poised to shock completely different political occasions of all courses throughout the 2023 fundamental elections throughout the state.
“In Borno, we now have nominated candidates for all elective positions and arrange buildings from ward to state degree to mobilise voters.
“Apart from our presidential candidate, Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, we now have a governorship candidate, three senatorial candidates, ten candidates for the House of Representatives and 28 candidates for the House of Assembly to be voted for massively in Borno.
“With our energy of over two million members and supporters, we’ll shock others.
“We look forward to the 2023 elections with full confidence and hope that by the grace of God we will win,” Mustapha said.
Mustapha praised INEC for extending the registration of Permanent Voting Cards (PVCs) and urged Borno residents, notably the youth, to get entangled throughout the advertising and marketing marketing campaign.
“It is hard work, but I want to encourage eligible voters, who are now more enlightened, to make an effort and register so that they can actively participate in choosing the leaders of their choice,” Mr Mustapha said.
