As reported by The Detroit News, White popped the question and celebrated his nuptials with his now-wife Olivia during his show in his hometown, Detroit, on Friday (8 April).

Olivia Jean is also a musician, and according to Rolling Stone, her now-husband helped her in the early days of her career.

The publication explains that White introduced Jean to a group of musicians who later became her Black Belles bandmates.

As per Bloomberg, the garage goth rock band, which is currently on hiatus, is signed to White’s record label Third Man. Jean herself is also signed to the label and has released two solo albums and an EP.

A look at the newlywed’s relationship

Before the couple’s recent engagement and then marriage, Jack White and Olivia Jean appear to have kept their relationship away from the spotlight.

However, Jean has previously featured pictures of White on her Instagram feed. He officially introduced Jean, who also hails from Detroit, as his girlfriend at his recent show in their hometown.

While not much is known of their relationship, the Detroit natives are said to have known each other for many years and reportedly first crossed paths in 2009.

Jack White’s now-wife Olivia Jean was born on 23 February 1990, meaning she is currently 32 years old.

White is 46 years old and is set to celebrate his 47th birthday later this year in July. Therefore, the two have an age difference of around 14 years.
