Some Northern APC Christian Leaders along with a Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal alongside a Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara on Saturday met with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State who belong to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The go to comes a Day after Lawal and Dogara spearheaded a Northern Christian gathering to formally reject the Muslim-Muslim Ticket of the APC.
The friends, on their arrival held a Closed-door Meeting with the Governor at his Private Residence in Port-hacourt, Rivers State Capital. Addressing Journalists after the Meeting, Lawal talked about that that they had merely fufilled a biblical injunction to go to one another.”We came visiting our Brother, Governor Nyesom Wike and on occasion the Bible enjoins us to go to One one different. That’s what we now have now merely achieved”.
Also speaking, Dogara who served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019 described Wike as an indispensable political chief, he added that their go to to the Rivers State Governor was a search to assemble an all-inclusive Nigeria.
