Aaliyah Ivory, a Chicago resident who was shot six times on I-57, is currently recovering in the hospital.

I-57 near Vollmer Road in Matteson was the scene of a road rage gunshot, according to Illinois State Police.

When the police arrived, they found Ivory suffering from serious wounds. She claims that on Saturday, while driving northbound, a construction zone required traffic to merge into one lane.

Ivory claimed that after she cut off the driver who had cut her off, he hurled racial epithets at her. She acknowledges using a derogatory term in her response, after which she heard gunfire. The Illinois State Police have not yet brought any formal charges.

While Aaliyah was traveling down Interstate 57, a white man lost his cool. Later, the man pursued her car and fired multiple shots at it.

The man was pursuing her while she was operating the car. When the man started shooting, Aaliyah was hurt. Ivory was finally shot six times and ended up in the hospital. The individual was therefore detained by the police.

Then, Aaliyah’s sister posted this incident on Facebook. On her way home in Matteson, Illinois, the victim was shot six times, according to the post. Aaliyah Ivory, a victim of road rage, was shot by a furious white man.

The white man was detained by the police after the shooting, although his time in custody was brief. The man, according to police, was terrified for his life.

In addition, while they wait for the findings of the investigation, physicians have informed the Ivory family that she would have a challenging recovery process. Aaliyah has multiple severe injuries throughout her body, including a bullet wound to the spine.

Because she raised her hand to shield the bullet, according to her sister, she would require surgery on her hand. She continued by saying that it broke her hands like thirty bones.

From her hospital bed, Aaliya also spoke with Fox 32 Chicago. She asserts that the gunshot was the consequence of road rage and that she is unsure of when she will be able to walk once more.

According to Illinois State Police, the investigation is still underway.
