The brother and sister-in-law of former first lady, Michelle Obama, recently sued a Milwaukee school. The couple alleged on Tuesday (19 April) that the dismissals were a result of their complaints concerning the use of racial and ethnic stereotypes in virtual classroom assignments, according to Good Morning America.
Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson are incredibly close siblings and have grown tighter since the death of their father. According to USA Today, Michelle said that she often turns to her brother for things that she used to turn to her father for.

Who is Craig Robinson’s wife Kelly?
Kelly Mccrum was born and raised in New Jersey and is the schooling administrator of Brown College. She is widely known as the wife of basketball coach, Craig Robinson. They married in June 2006 and have remained by each other’s side ever since. Kelly and Craig now reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with their two sons.
Craig is a proud father of four, he shares two sons with Kelly Robinson, Austin who was born in 2010 and Aaron who arrived in 2012. Craig was previously married to Janis Robinson, meaning Kelly is also the stepmother of their children, Avery and Leslie.
Robinson is the Executive Director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, a role he’s been in since 2020. His success has led him to garner a large following, on Instagram, he has over 35,000 followers, with whom he shares pictures of his life, wife and kids. He also shares photos of his mom, Marian Lois Robinson, sister Michelle, and his business ventures. Kelly Mccrum has a private Instagram account under the username @4robinsonkids, she has garnered 488 followers.

The Robinsons had enrolled their two children, aged 11 and 9, at the school in 2016. However, according to the New York Post, the school allegedly expelled their eldest in April 2021 and their youngest child in June 2021.
“As [with] a lot of the parents, we heard what was going on in the classroom because of COVID,” Robinson told ABC’s Good Morning America, and that they didn’t agree with what was being taught there.
The Robinson children now attend a new school.
