Who is Dania Shah?
Dania Shah was the third wife of prominent TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain – they divorced a month ago.
Their separation apparently prompted Hussain to announce publicly that he planned to leave Pakistan – writes Yahoo News.
Shah is 18 years old, and from Islamabad, Pakistan. She and Hussain were married for four months. When they married, in February 2022, Aamir introduced her as a Syeda. However, she later revealed – per Daily Pakistan – that she’s “not from a Syed family”. Instead, she is a Malik.

Syeda Dania Shah is now Dania Malik
Her official Instagram account now uses the name Dania Malik – her bio no longer contains any references to her relationship with Hussain. She has 81.5K followers on the platform.

However, she still goes by Syeda Dania Shah on Twitter, where she has 3.4K followers. It’s on Twitter that she described the death of her ex-husband as “shocking”.

She also wrote: “May Allah make his last journey easy and forgive his sins”.
Who are the other ex-wives of Aamir Liaquat Hussain?
Dania Shah was Hussain’s third wife, until their divorce a month ago. Yahoo adds that their divorce was “public and acrimonious”.
The “shock televangelist” was 50 years old when he died – 32 years his ex-wife’s senior – and worked for many of Pakistan’s leading media houses during his career. He was an eloquent figure, but many found him divisive.

He was married three times. His first two wives were Syeda Bushra Iqbal and Syeda Tuba Amir. In late 2020, Iqbal posted on Instagram claiming that Hussain had divorced her over the phone, in what she described as “the most painful and traumatic thing for my children and I”.
The date of their divorce is unclear. However, Pakistan Today reported in 2018 that Aamir Liaquat Hussain had “admitted his second marriage” – to Syeda Tuba Anwar. He was on the campaign trail at the time, and was re-elected to the National Assembly as a PTI candidate for constituency NA-245 (Karachi East-IV) later that year.
