SIX people have been hurt with some suffering serious injuries after a car violently crashed into a restaurant, fire officials said.
The car jumped a curb before slamming into the building in Chicago Friday night.

A total of six people were stuck, including some who were outside sitting at a table.
Five were taken to the hospital where two are in serious to critical condition, Chicago Fire Media said in a statement.
The crash happened in the 1200-block of North Wells Street.
The driver of the car fled the scene after the horrific event, fire officials said.
A photojournalist reported that the door of the business appears to be smashed.
