A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a home in a Derbyshire village.
Officers were called to a house on Oak Crescent in Littleover, near Derby, at around 7.15am on Sunday where they found a woman with critical injuries.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Officers remain in the area and a cordon is in place.
Derbyshire Constabulary said no further information is available at this time.
