Gary Connery, 53, parachuted into the Olympic opening ceremony wearing a wig and a dress

In a statement, Ms Brass said of the attack in October 2020: “I still haven’t fully recovered.”

Connery, of Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, was jailed for 18 months after a jury convicted him of GBH without intent. He was cleared of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Judge Nigel Daly said Connery, who parachuted into the Olympic opening ceremony wearing a wig and a dress, was a “danger to the public”.

He told him at Oxford crown court: “You have shown no remorse for what happened.”
