A TEEN who stabbed a 15-year-old boy to death in a gang fight has been jailed for seven years.

O’Neil Cameron, 19, stabbed Romario Opia in the chest and heart with a “very large knife”.

Witnesses told the Old Bailey they saw Romario jump off his bike and run towards three youths, including Cameron.

Romario swung a machete he was carrying before Cameron wielded his knife at him in Archway, North London.

Cameron, of nearby Islington, was cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter.

A 17-year-old was cleared by the jury of murder and manslaughter.

Judge Jeremy Donne, QC, told: “It is truly a disturbing feature of this case that all of those involved were 18 or under.

“Romaria jumped from his bike and started to run towards your group.

“It is simply a tragedy that Romaria became embroiled in gang and knife culture.”

Romario’s mother Katrina told the court of her “unbearable loss”.
