Though Kate Winslet is a L’Oréal Paris’ spokesperson, she has enjoyed not having to wear makeup much during the last year. She told Harper’s Bazaar, “What’s been so nice is that we’ve all been unified in our joy of not having to put makeup on and not make so much of an effort. I’ve actually enjoyed really not wearing makeup, and certainly wearing less of it.”
While Winslet doesn’t believe in altering your natural looks with surgery, she does enjoy wearing makeup on occasion. Yet even with that, she doesn’t go overboard either. She has been known to do her own makeup for the red carpet at times, according to People, “There are some days when I just don’t like all the fuss and faff that can come with lots of people prodding and fiddling with your face and hair.”
She also confesses that makeup isn’t what makes you look your best; it’s being relaxed and healthy, “If I’m over-tired or stressed, no amount of make-up and hair can disguise the impact of that on one’s face.”
