The Monte Carlo Masters are well under way with the top-seeded players entering the competition at the Monte Carlo Country Club.
World No.1 Novak Djokovic makes his return to the court today as he faces Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in a big second-round duel on Court Rainier III.
British star Cam Norrie must wait until tomorrow to enter the tournament at the second round stage as he gears up to face Albert Ramos-Vinolas, while Dan Evans has qualified for the second round after defeating Benjamin Bonzi.
One of the biggest match-ups still to come today will see No.3 seed and reigning champion Stefanos Tsitsipas face Fabio Fognini in a firecracker showdown for such an early stage of the competition. Grigor Dimitrov is also in action against Dusan Lajovic.
Much of the second round drama will come on Wednesday as No.2 seed Alexander Zverev kick-starts his tournament while Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, Jannik Sinner and rising superstar Carlos Alcaraz Garfia are also in action.
