We’re ecstatic about the second season of Bridgerton’s forthcoming release! Fans will be transported back to England’s Regency era of high society in just a few days. The tale this time revolves around the eldest Bridgerton and his desire to find a wife.

Bridgerton is without a doubt one of Netflix’s best original programmes. It debuted on Netflix in December 2020 and rapidly became the most popular show on the platform. Netflix renewed the period drama for a second season just a month later, owing to its enormous success. The streamer then chose to order two more seasons on top of the second season order, which was placed three months earlier.

Obviously, there is still a lot more tale to tell, and fans are looking forward to each installment’s publication. As fans prepare for Bridgerton season 2, some are wondering which of the Bridgerton books the next season will be based on. That is not an issue for us.

Bridgerton season 2

Bridgerton season 2

Season 2 of Bridgerton is based on which Bridgerton book?

Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton series consists of eight volumes, and she is a best-selling author. The Duke and I inspired the first season, while The Viscount Who Loved Me inspired the second. Below is a list of each book in chronological order:

  • Book 1: The Duke and I
  • Book 2: The Viscount Who Loved Me
  • Book 3: An Offer From A Gentleman
  • Book 4: Romancing Mr. Bridgerton
  • Book 5: To Sir Phillip, With Love
  • Book 6: When He Was Wicked
  • Book 7: It’s In His Kiss
  • Book 8: On The Way to the Wedding

The Viscount Who Loved Me is set in 1814 and follows Viscount Anthony Bridgerton’s love storey. He’s a repentant “rake” who now intends to marry in order to keep the Bridgerton name alive. He intends to marry Edwina Sheffield (renamed Sharma in the series) once he has his heart set on her, but her elder, overprotective half-sister Kate is determined to prevent the betrothal at all costs. The mutual disdain Anthony and Kate have for one another grows into something much more, resulting in a love triangle. What will happen to Anthony Bridgerton?

When Bridgerton season 2 premieres on Netflix on March 25 at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET, you’ll find out the solution to this question!
