Over the years, Vanna White and Pat Sajak have spent countless hours together filming “Wheel of Fortune.” Viewers have long noticed their chemistry and how well they seem to get along. It’s true that the pair hardly ever fight. In fact, White recently said on the “Drew Barrymore Show” that she always gets along with “work husband” Sajak, except for one argument “over putting ketchup on a hotdog.”
The two also seem to share the same sense of humor, going as far as once joking about being a couple. Alongside Sajak, White explained in an interview, “Years and years ago, we did an April Fool’s joke. I don’t know that we said we were married, but we said something about being together, and we received toasters…” Sajak interrupted, joking, “It took a couple of years to convince [people] that we didn’t need any more Crockpots.”
Even though the host and hostess exude compatibility, their relationship remains strictly platonic. In 2019, White told Closer Weekly, “People at home see the chemistry between Pat and me. We are like brother and sister, and I think that is what makes it work.” You don’t have to buy a vowel to sum up their relationship status: BFFs.
