Tuesday night saw the return of a brand-new, harrowing episode of TLC’s Welcome to Plathville. Kim made the decision to speak with Barry this week and let him know that she truly wants to move forward with the divorce.
The Plath family has endured numerous changes since the season began, particularly Kim and Barry. Barry admitted that he still loved his wife even if Kim had her own reasons for wanting to dissolve their marriage. Sadly, that didn’t satisfy Kim’s desire to leave.
Barry started off Welcome to Plathville episode 10 by assisting Kim in mounting a bed above her dancing studio. Kim revealed that the space would be rented out for travel. She revealed about their marriage that it resembled a business partnership and added that she was adamant about the divorce and didn’t want to patch things up.

In Welcome to Plathville Season 4, Episode 10, Kim explains to Barry why she intends to move forward with the divorce.
Kim admitted during her confessional that she was in a position where she didn’t want to work on her marriage. She continued by saying she didn’t want to try counseling either, saying she had tried but was just unable to continue.
Kim said she tried to convey the following message to Barry but felt like he was in denial and not paying attention:
Kim revealed to Barry that although she had informed him how she felt a few months prior, he had simply attempted to make accommodations that would persuade her to stay. He didn’t actually value her, she continued. The star of Welcome to Plathville added that she didn’t want to save their marriage.
Barry expressed surprise at Kim’s admission and claimed that she had been duped into believing a lie. He didn’t tell her anything since he knew she had already made up her mind, the Welcome to Plathville actor continued, adding that it was a difficult position. He stated:
Barry admitted that despite everything, he still had feelings for her and had not anticipated that he would have to get a divorce. He told his wife that he understood what she had to say and was coming to grips with it, but that there was nothing he could do to change the outcome of this.
