Episode six, titled Diwali, saw Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) get a glamorous new apartment with help from a real estate agent and new friend Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury).

Eventually, Carrie decided that the new apartment was not for her after some words of advice from Seema when she joined her at a family celebration of the festival of Diwali.

Elsewhere, Carrie also joined newly-single friend Anthony Marentino (Mario Cantone) as he paid a visit to a cosmetic surgeon, Dr Paul David (Jonathan Groff).

Despite the charming surgeon’s words, neither ended up having work done on their appearances.

Meanwhile, Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) continued to feel a burning desire for Che Diaz (Sara Ramirez) and came clean to Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) about her infidelity.

A major blow-up occurred between the three best friends but they decided to make up.

After, Miranda sent a text message to Che.

Finally, Charlotte also reached a happier place with child Rock (Alexa Swinton) as they embrace their evolving identity/

Of course, Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is still absent, but the fifth episode did see Carrie exchange vaguely warm text messages with her former friend after Carrie mentioned an anecdote from their past during a podcast recording.

Could the pair eventually patch things up?
