The acrobatic team made the decision to compete in the Budapest Circus Festival in January 2022 while touring Budapest from October through December of the previous year, and they were successful in taking home the bronze medal.
Given that it was the third-largest festival in the world and that the AGT group had never competed against the best circus performers from Italy, Russia, Hungary, Spain, Ethiopia, Cuba, and Ukraine, the victory was a significant accomplishment for the group.
RCC Aruba got a special award in addition to the bronze. They were handed the honour by a well-known circus family after winning the prize for being the most well-liked group by the general audience.
The trio then gained popularity and started to get numerous invitations to perform from other countries’ circus troupes. Beginning in England in July 2022, they want to play for three solid months at the Hippodrome Circus on their debut tour as a group.
In September 2023, RCC Aruba is scheduled to play and take part in another International Circus Festival. Following that, they intend to continue their tour in Paris, France, with the Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione. Prince Louis-Napoléon, Napoleon III Bonaparte’s lone child, served as the venue’s inaugural guest.
The AGT circus troupe proudly represents Aruba and is a sight to behold everywhere they go. The company engages the audience with inventive performances and previously unseen feats. RCC Aruba stands out from other acrobatic acts since it is known for raising the bar with each performance.
With their show, Double Teeterboard, RCC Aruba took home the title of “Excellent Performance Act” in the 17th China Wuqiao International Circus Festival in 2019.
On social media, the acrobatic group has over 600 followers and frequently posts videos of their rehearsals, acts, and stage performances, among other things.
