The Masked Singer theories
Is Rick Astley Traffic Cone?
Traffic Cone appeared with a version of Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give You Up on Sunday night’s episode of The Masked Singer (2nd January).
However, many fans have predicted a big twist and suggested that the song was chosen to throw viewers off the scent – and that it will turn out to be Rick Astley himself behind the mask.
Whether the song choice was a bluff remains to be seen, and fans will have to keep watching to find out who the famous face is.
Is Tom Jones Traffic Cone?
Sir Tom is a regular fixture at ITV thanks to The Voice, so signing him up to the show would be fairly simple – if he agreed to do it, that is.
“Traffic cone is Tom Jones he sounds Welsh and the name nearly rhymes,” said one fan on Twitter. That may be clutching at straws a little, but we aren’t ready to rule Sir Tom out of the running just yet…
