In March, Flynn joined the long-running primetime drama “Grey’s Anatomy” in a recurring role, tweeting that the opportunity was “a dream come true.” According to Variety, Flynn plays Wendell Ndugu, who first appeared by trying to impress his older brother, doctor Winston Ndugu (played by Anthony Hill), with his new job as a salesman for a medical company. In a three-episode arc, it was revealed Wendell — who had a history of causing problems for his family — was in serious debt to a loan shark and tried to take advantage of his brother by selling the hospital staff devices that didn’t work. Although he last appeared on bad terms with his brother, Flynn’s recurring cast member status could mean viewers haven’t seen the last of Winston’s mischievous sibling.

As for Flynn, he also recently retweeted an announcement that he was cast in the upcoming Paramount+ feature film “Fantasy Football,” which Shadow and Act reports will follow a 16-year-old girl who learns she can control her professional football player dad’s performance through a video game console. For those hoping the actor might make his way back to “The Bold and the Beautiful,” you never know. Zende was recast in 2020 with actor Delon de Metz, who has recently sparked rumors he might leave the role after being cast in a TV pilot for NBC, according to Soaps.com. Only time will tell.
