Moreover, earlier today, Phil Mickelson announced that he will be competing in the inaugural event of the LIV Golf Invitational Series. Will Dustin Johnson compete in the major championships?

Dustin Johnson said that he wants to compete in major championships. “I mean, I can’t answer for the majors. But you know, hopefully, they are going to allow us to play. Obviously, I am exempt to play for the majors, so I am playing there unless I hear otherwise,” said DJ.

Furthermore, when asked about the threat of losing the spot in the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup, DJ said that all things are subject to change. Dustin also said that he hopes that things will change at some point and they will be able to participate in the biennial event. However, Johnson also said that he doesn’t make the rules. So he doesn’t know what lies ahead for him about majors and Ryder Cup.
