A WOMAN has claimed binmen refused to collect her rubbish because a petty neighbour won’t move their car – and now her trash is overflowing.
TikToker Dame Jette said binmen had to resort to going around a building through a nearby parking lot to get her trash.
Dame Jette – who regularly posts about her neighbourly rows – accused the people living opposite of her of ignoring a no-parking spot on their street.
“I’ve lived here for a decade [and] never, never once had an issue with them not picking up my trash until today,” she said.
“So I call them to figure out why. They tell me it’s because people down there parking on the street, when they’re not supposed to, is preventing the garbage truck from being able to get around that turn right there,” she adding while pointing the camera towards the spot.
“And that they’re going to no longer be able to pick up my trash for as long as people are parking on the street down there.”

When she confronted her neighbours, she was attacked by their dog and was told they wouldn’t spot parking in the spot and that it was “your problem” to figure out.
In a later update, she said her bins had finally been emptied after garbagemen found a back way into her street.
“They are still going to be putting back up the no parking signs tomorrow,” she said.
“So when they do I’ll post another update then.”

Users were quick to weigh into the dispute.
“I’m in Ohio, southwest and in most cities its illegal to park in front of a hydrant, you can call the city/police and they’ll ticket or tow them,” one person wrote.
“Just call the fire dept when the truck is there,” suggested another.
“My trash company calls the tow truck and keeps it going. Ppl learned real quick. It’s not your problem to deal with,” a third wrote.
“That truck is so totally illegal parking,” another pointed out.
“My trash truck will sit there and honk until the person comes out and moves.”
