Thankfully, while the frightening experience landed the young boy in hospital, he did not have any serious injuries.

Police received a report of the attempted kidnap last Wednesday, June 1, just after 2pm.

Enquries into the incident are underway.

The child abduction was fortunately foiled, just as this lucky mother found last December when three people were arrested in an attempted kidnapping in a Tesco.
