SHARON HORGAN’s relationship with Madchester star Tim Burgess is one to really raise eyebrows.
The Bafta-winning Irish actress was this week spotted snogging The Charlatans frontman by the side of a busy A-road.

Sharon is said to have been a fan of Tim since he shot to fame with the hit The Only One I Know in 1990, when she was a teenager.
They got to know each other after he tweeted about how much he loved her on C4 show Catastrophe.
And as their friendship developed she even sang on The Charlatans’ 2017 album Different Days. A source said: “Sharon and Tim have kept their relationship low key but it didn’t stop them having a kiss next to a busy road in London.
“They seemed lost in each other and didn’t appear to care who saw them.”
Sharon was married to producer Jeremy Rainbird for 14 years and has two children with him.
Tim has a son with electronic musician Nik Colk Void, but it’s not clear if they’re still together.
He gradually got to know Sharon after she re- tweeted his praise for Catastrophe. He said: “We’ve had a little journey of meeting up at music festivals, and Sharon came to see us play in New York.”
Tim was then treated to a visit to the set of Divorce, the show starring Sarah Jessica Parker, which Sharon wrote and was a producer for from 2016 to 2019.
Representatives for Sharon and Tim declined to comment.

The Anywhere singer, who is working on her third album, said of life in the spotlight: “It is definitely a shock to your system because it is something you’ve never experienced before.
“People ask me all the time, ‘What is fame like?’ And it’s really hard to explain fame if you’re not in it. It’s a very weird concept. I don’t really think about it as a reality . . . I don’t bring it home with me.”
In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar Australia magazine, accompanied by this photo and the belly baring one below, she continued: “I love to think of myself as a normal person. When I go outside, I know, now it’s work time.
“People might come and talk to you. People may come and take pictures of you. It’s just something that comes with the territory.
“You have to also realise what you signed up for and pick the places where you’d like to keep them private.”
RED HOT WALK
THE RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are being honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
They will receive it next Thursday, on the eve of the release of their 12th album, Unlimited Love.
In a joint statement band members Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and John Frusciante said: “We spent thousands of hours honing our craft and showing up for one another to make the best album we could.”

At the ceremony in Los Angeles, Megan Thee Stallion performed her Dua Lipa collaboration Sweetest Pie in a hot pink bodysuit and Nicole Scherzinger posed in a floral bra top and skirt. HARRY STYLES is set to dominate the summer once again as his third album is due out on May 20.

He announced 13-track Harry’s House yesterday in a post on Instagram, which quickly picked up millions of likes.
It will be the follow-up to his hugely successful Fine Line, which he put out at the end of 2019, and will be released three weeks before he kicks off his Love On Tour stadium shows.
Harry has spent several weeks shooting videos for the project and the first single is expected to be out in the coming days.
There is a lot of pressure for it to be a success but his track record suggests it will be even bigger than his last.
ALAN A SPICE SHOE-IN
THE man who led the Spice Girls to superstardom has admitted he only got the job as their publicist because they liked his shoes.
Alan Edwards has just been named PR Week mag’s No1 Entertainment PR for the eighth year.
He took on Mel B, Mel C, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham in the Nineties, and said: “I got a call from Virgin Music to be in the office in 45 minutes. I was marched into the main meeting room.
“There must have been 30 people. It was like a meeting about the economy at Goldman Sachs.
“I asked the girls if there was anything they’d like to ask me. A lengthy silence followed until a voice piped up, ‘What shoes are you wearing?’
“There was a sharp intake of breath around the room. I said, ‘Hush Puppies’.
“The girls looked at each other and one said, ‘That’s all right, we can hire him’.”

The Virgin Radio DJ, who hosts The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with Sky, is donating all proceeds to the Disasters Emergency Committee.
