A FORMER glamour model claims a creepy Iceland delivery driver messaged her asking for a date.

Angelica Harte said she answered the door in her pyjamas and barely spoke to the worker when he delivered her £60 shop to her home in Wolverhampton.

But two hours later, the 44-year-old claimed she received a text asking if she would like to meet him in a local park the next day.

Angelica has now slammed the driver and vowed to boycott Iceland.

She said: “I was in my pyjamas with no make-up on, but even like that I still got that type of attention from a man who was prepared to lose his job over asking me out.

“I was scared that not only did he have my phone number but he had my address also and could appear at any time.

“I was really distraught over it. I didn’t see the funny side of it at all.”

The ex-Page 3 girl had been getting deliveries for around a year after her rheumatoid arthritis and osteoporosis made carrying shopping bags impossible.

She said she believed the driver was a “normal middle-aged man” but claimed he did stare at her and tried to engage in conversation.

Angelica – who admits being “really shy” – said she just wanted to take her shopping and shut the door.

But she was “shocked and angry” when she allegedly got a text a couple of hours later asking to meet up.

It reportedly read: “Hi this is the Iceland driver from earlier didn’t get chance to say what I wanted because you’re neighbour came out, do you fancy a walk in the park tomorrow I’m not working so anytime that suits you.”

Angelica, who appeared in the film Killer Bitch alongside kickboxer Alex Reid, complained to Iceland.

She said: “I thought home deliveries would be easier but I didn’t expect to get harassed.

“Now my friend takes me food shopping which isn’t ideal as I’m in the vulnerable group so I’d rather stay away from people to avoid catching Covid.”

‘VULNERABLE’

The model said she employed a solicitor due to the breach in her private data but all avenues have been exhausted.

As a result, she has decided to speak out about the incident which took place in February last year.

Angelica added: “It was in the middle of the pandemic, I was really struggling and felt very isolated from friends and family.

“This didn’t help things.

“I felt vulnerable and I didnt expect that type of nonsense just getting my shopping delivered.

“I didn’t think he should be able to get away with it.

“I’ll never shop at Iceland again.”

It is understood the man in question is now no longer working on behalf of Iceland.

The Sun Online has contacted the supermarket for comment.

Angelica avoided jail in 2017 after faking her own kidnapping and ordering a terrified friend to pay an £8,000 ransom as a “joke”.

It comes after a Currys delivery driver was sacked after sending creepy messages to customers.
