A HOOVER is cleaning up Britain’s beauty spots as it embarks on a tour of the UK.
Henry the Hoover has so far scaled the slopes of Mount Snowdon in Wales, travelled along the Cornish coast and is eyeing up completing all 214 of the highest peaks in England – known as “Wainwrights”.

Costing £119, Henry weighs 7.5kg and is one of the 11 million iconic hoovers made by the Somerset based Numatic International since 1981.
As well as his mountainous adventures, Henry has visited iconic spots including the deer park at Wollaton Hall near Nottingham, the Henry Moore sculptures at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park as well as the Lake District – all of which he documents on his Instagram account.
Henry told The Sun: “I’ve already seen some amazing sights and been to some great places.
“I’ve been to England, Scotland and Wales, seen Lochs, Lakes, Meres and waterfalls, been up mountains and down valleys.
“I’ve also been fortunate enough to see some great sculptures and works of art.
“I’ve heard a rumour that there is even more to see if you cross the sea to other bits of land.”
The suction cleaner began his journey from his home in Cornwall and has now visited every part of the UK.
Henry is given a lift to each spot by an anonymous assistant.

He said: “After I’d been taken up onto the cliffs and seen the sea, I realised there was a whole new world out there and thought the best thing to do would be to start an Instagram account to inspire all the other vacuum cleaners out there who spend much of there time stuck in a cupboard or under the stairs, just like I had.”
Henry said that he’s making his tour of the UK to raise awareness of litter and recycling in the UK’s most iconic spots.
He said: “This country has some fantastic places and so much of it is free for us all to enjoy. It is very precious though and I’ve met some top people who like to help keep it that way.
“These people are out there organising litter picks, or grabbing bags full of rubbish that have been carelessly left behind and this is fantastic stuff.”
Henry added: “Obviously I do rely on a bit of help getting around so I think its important to have a couple of projects on the go, just to make sure I keep the interest going.”
