CHILLING video shows the exact moment that a young girl was attacked by a coyote while on the beach with her family.
The toddler was attacked by the beast in Huntington Beach, California on April 28.
The video released by Fox 11 shows the coyote running rapidly towards the child, who is said to be around two or three years old.
A mother and her two children were playing on the ocean shore Thursday night when the incident took place.
As soon as the child turns toward the animal, it jumps onto her, knocking her over and apparently biting her around the face area.
“There was blood all over her face,” a witness told Fox 11.
Cops rushed to the scene as they responded to the attack that took place north of the pier.
In a statement, officers said “The child was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuried.”
Later that night, cops shot two coyotes after attempting to capture them.
They both managed to run away, but one of the coyotes was found dead this morning.

The victim has yet to be identified, and police do not intend to release further details as she’s a minor.
Locals told Fox 11 that they are not surprised this event took place.
“I’ve been here 40 year, and this year’s been the worst,” one woman said regarding coyote activity.
“It’s really not afraid of us at all,” said another woman who told Fox 11 about a specific coyote that hangs around a children’s playground.
Cops revealed they’ve been conducting trapping efforts to capture coyotes throughout the city over the past weeks.
