BRONX residents were displaced following a fire in Fordham Heights on Sunday morning.

At least 31 people were injured in the aftermath.

Is there a fire in the Bronx today?

Around 200 firefighters responded to an incident in the Bronx on January 9, 2022.

The fire is thought to have started in a third floor apartment at 333 E 181st Street just before 11am ET.

Traffic has been stopped at 182St and Webster Avenue.

Residents were seen “jumping from windows” and around 11 people are suffering life-threatening injuries, according to reports.

New York City’s Office of Emergency Management advised nearby residents on Twitter to “avoid smoke, close windows.”

Smoke can be seen out of the windows in shocking video footage.
