A LORRY driver was caught on CCTV dragging the body of a woman he murdered in a wheelie bin before dumping her in a park.

Neculai Paizan, 64, beat Agnes Akom, 20, over the head more than 20 times with an electric saw as he brutally murdered her in his converted-shipping container home in North West London.

The lorry driver was found guilty of murder at the Old Bailey today as the police released harrowing images of Paizan pushing a wheelie bin with Ms Akom inside.

Police also released pictures of the grimy shipping container Paizan chose to live in without running water, despite owning a £700,000 flat in Notting Hill.

The squalid “home” was where the lorry driver killed Ms Akom last year in a furious attack, before dumping her in the bin and burying her under a pile of logs in a park.

Paizan claimed he woke up and found the young woman dead after she had drugged him.

But his gruesome case took the jury less than an hour to deliberate before they convicted him.

Paizan was seen several times with Ms Akom near the container in Acton Road, Park Royal, by staff at nearby car dealership Lennox Autos in the months before the murder.

On the morning of May 9 last year, Ms Akom left her flat in Cricklewood, North West London, after telling her partner she was going to work.

She then exchanged messaged with Paizan and a man she worked for, Attila Molna-Feri, a Hungarian coffin maker she had an “intimate relationship” with.

Ms Akom then ordered an Uber to go to Mr Molna-Feri’s house, but Paizan arrived at the Costa Coffee where she was sat and, after speaking with him, left with him instead in his silver Dacia Sandero.

CCTV was played which showed the pair later entering Paizan’s disgusting shipping container.

During the trial prosecutor Jacob Hallam said: “The doors close behind him. That is the last time that Agnes is seen alive on CCTV.”

The lorry driver was next seen about half an hour later heading to a tap to wash off bloodstains, before carrying several items out of his container into the boot of his car.

He was seen carrying Ms Akoms distinctive white fur coat, as well as pink slip-on shoes, carpet and items matted with her blood and hair.

Later that day, CCTV caught Paizan dragging the wheelie bin to his car.

The body was then left in his car overnight outside his Peel Street home, before Paizan went the next morning to Neasden Recreation Ground and buried Ms Akom in a shallow grave under a pile of logs.

The 20-year-old’s body was found a month later covered in a black plastic bag with a cord around her throat.

A pathologist found her death had been caused by at least 20 blows to the head.

Police found a blood stain on the spine of a bible in the shipping container – which was found to match Ms Akom’s profile through a DNA sample.

Paizan, of Peel Street, Notting Hill, denied murdering Ms Akom, and insisted he had passed out after the victim gave him a drugged iced tea in his home.
