CARS cause a splash as they are driven along a road flooded by water from a rain-swollen river.
Motorists were advised to steer clear of the deluged causeway beside the River Great Ouse near Welney, Norfolk.
Four cars can be seen making water trails.
The flood came after recent rainfall raised water levels at the Welney Causeway.
Although no further rainfall has been forecast, the Environmental Agency said it will ask Norfolk Highways to decide whether the road should be closed.
It added: “The causeway at Welney has approximately two centimetres of water on the road.

“Due to the uneven surface of the roads, water may be deeper in places.”
The alert only applies to the causeway.
Motorists in the area are advised to plan driving routes that avoid low lying roads near rivers.
