She was struck down with Covid-19 earlier this month.

But on Tuesday, Studio 10 star Natasha Exelby announced that she’s on the mend and has lost almost 4kg while she was unwell.

Posting to her Instagram Stories, the sharp-witted journalist joked: ‘My road to recovery is looking good, I no longer look like a homeless ice addict, so that’s a plus!’

The 38-year-old then went on to ponder what was the worst part of being unwell.

‘Is it the isolation? No, I’ve been too sick to go anywhere beyond my balcony so not a problem at all,’ she began.

‘Is it the nausea and loss of appetite, definitely not at all – highly unpleasant, but I’ve dropped 3.5 kilos in 9 days so that’s a win.

‘Getting rid of all my lockdown cuddles by contracting Covid – that’s serendipitous almost.’

Last week, Natasha explained that she was ‘triple-vaxxed’ and would ‘perish the thought’ if she contracted the virus and wasn’t vaccinated.

‘I was officially diagnosed on Monday, had my test on Saturday and have pretty much been in hibernation and a lot of pain ever since.’

‘What’s interesting is that I’m triple-vaxxed,’ she continued, initially believing that she was not actually actually sick and being a hypochondriac.

But Natasha said when her temperature ‘hit 40 degrees on Monday’ she knew she ‘wasn’t imagining it’.

‘People might say, ‘Well what’s the point of getting vaxxed or triple-vaxxed if you’re still going to get sick?’ the presenter queried. ‘The point is that if I wasn’t triple-vaxxed and I got Covid I perish the thought of where I’d be.’
