NINE TOWIE stars were booted off a flight to London yesterday after endangering the aircraft in shameful scenes at 30,000ft.
The Only Way is Essex gang were spoken to by police after their “lunatic” behaviour following filming on the sunkissed shores of the Dominican Republic.
The Towie cast, made up of five women and four men had refused to comply with airline rules following an initial flight to Madrid in what was described as “appalling behaviour”.
One of the stars was openly vaping on the plane.
Three newbie pin-up stars Hannah Voyan, Pia Smith and Mia Sully were among those banned from the flight.
An insider said: “Fumes were visible above their seats. They were asked to stop but refused. It was appalling behaviour. Absolutely idiotic.”
Another five reality tv stars, said to include James ‘Diags’ Bennewith, refused to comply with Air Europa inflight policy by wearing masks while seated.
Repeated requests by flight crew to oblige were ignored, according to insiders.
Cops were on hand to meet the aircraft as it arrived in the Spanish capital at 11.25am yesterday.
And the nine Towie stars were refused to board the connecting Flight UX1015 to London.

The Gatwick airport-bound plane took off over an hour and 15 minutes late due to the chaotic scenes while the stars’ baggage was removed from the aircraft.
The jet – a twin-engine Boeing 737-800 – landed in the UK at 5.30pm without the ITV Be cast, who had to find another way home.
An insider told The Sun: “This lunatic behaviour brings shame on ITV and the entire Towie show.
“They were refusing to adhere to safety and security rules, and giving it the ‘big one’.
“They now face a struggle to return to the UK – and can expect short shrift from ITV bosses when they do get home.”
An Air Europa spokeswoman said: “There was an incident on the flight.
“Following protocol, several passengers were asked to leave the plane for refusing to wear the mandatory masks and one of them for smoking inside the aircraft.
“While leaving the plane, they were accompanied by other passengers without further incident.”
Last night ITV Be who screen Towie were contacted for comment.
There’s no suggestion the naughty stars were aggressive or got physical.
