AN OAP has been ordered to attend court over the death of a five-month-old baby boy after a car crashed into a mum and her son.
Shelagh Robertson, 74, was ordered to appear in court for hitting and killing little Louis Thorold after a van struck his pram near Cambridge on January 22 last year.

Tot Louis, aged five months, was being pushed along the pavement by his mum when two vehicles crashed on the road, causing a van to veer into Louis’ pram.
The toddler was killed in the collision – and mum Rachael is still recovering from brain injuries after spending 118 days in hospital.
Robertson is said to have been driving a Mazda 2 that collided with the van on the single-carriageway with a 50mph speed limit.
She has now been called to court to answer allegations of causing death by careless driving.
The update comes after parents Chris and Rachael formally complained to the IOPC – the police watchdog – about Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s investigation into the crash.

They voiced their anger that no one had been criminally charged and asked for a different force to lead the investigation.
Robertson, of Waterbeach, is due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on February 17.
