COPS have launched a probe after the “unexpected” death of a baby at a home in a quiet cul de sac.
Police and paramedics dashed to reports of a medical emergency in Berkeley, Gloucestershire – around 20 miles north of Bristol – at 10.40am this morning.

They attempted to revive a baby boy who had been found unresponsive at a property in Fishers Road.
Despite their efforts, the tot was pronounced dead at the scene, Gloucestershire Live reports.
Police say his death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
The baby’s next of kin have been informed and his death is under investigation.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said today: “Police were called by the ambulance service shortly after 10.40am today in relation to a medical emergency at an address on Fishers Road in Berkeley.
“Sadly, a young baby boy was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
