A GIRL aged nine who vanished in South East London has been found, police said early today.

An urgent search was launched to find Demi, who was last seen in Greenwich on Sunday at 4pm wearing a dinosaur backpack.

Police released a description of what Demi was last wearing before she went missing and what she had in her possession.

She was described as being around 4ft tall with long dark brown hair in a ponytail.

Demi is thought to have been wearing light blue leggings and a blue or grey top.

She was also thought to be carrying a black rucksack covered in colourful dinosaurs.

The Met said officers were concerned for her welfare and urged anyone with information to call 999.

Later the force tweeted: “We’re pleased to confirm that nine-year-old Demi who had been reported #missing has now been found. Thank you for the RTs.”
