Triple M host Jess Eva has revealed she suffered a devastating miscarriage after falling pregnant with her third child.

The 37-year-old said on her breakfast radio show on Tuesday she’d lost her unborn baby while isolating at home after testing positive for Covid-19.

Jess explained she and her partner Norm Hogan had wanted another baby ‘for a very long time’, so the loss was particularly heartbreaking.

‘Over the Christmas holidays, we were very blessed. Norm and I found out we were pregnant,’ the former Block star said.

‘When I was in lockdown with Covid, I started bleeding and unfortunately I lost the baby. It hasn’t happened to me before.’

‘I rang the doctor that afternoon and because I had Covid I had to stay at home,’ an emotional Jess added.

‘I wanted to talk about it because it’s still so common. We were so early but you grieve a child you never had.’

Miscarriage happens in about one in four recognised pregnancies, with 85 per cent of those happening in the first trimester.

Jess and Norm are parents to son Fred, six, and daughter Matilda, four.

The couple rose to fame on Channel Nine renovation show The Block in 2018.

During the season finale, they sold their apartment at auction for $2,859,000, making a tidy profit of $209,000.

In 2020, Jess revealed she and Norm had blown the entire cash prize on swimming pools, gambling and ‘helping out their friends’.

She also admitted they’d paid off a friend’s car loan, bought two lawnmowers and even bought a block of land on Queensland’s Russell Island.

The mother of two told Daily Mail Australia at the time they originally had plans to become full-time property developers, but things changed when they returned home and decided to splash the cash instead.
