DR JORDAN Peterson has been reportedly suspended by Twitter, according to political commentator, Dave Rubin.
Rubin broke the news on June 29, 2022, via his personal Twitter account.

Why was Dr Jordan Peterson banned from Twitter?
On June 29, 2022, Dave Rubin, a conservative political commentator, took to Twitter to share that Dr Jordon Peterson had been reportedly suspended by the social media platform.
“The insanity continues at Twitter. @jordanbpeterson has been suspended for this tweet about Ellen Page” Rubin wrote.
“He just told me he will “never” delete the tweet. Paging @elonmusk…”

According to the purported screenshot, Peterson had tweeted, “Remember when pride was a sin? And Ellen Page just had her breasts removed by a criminal physician.”
Twitter reportedly suspended the psychologist for “Violating our rules against hateful conduct.”
An account purportedly representing Peterson’s daughter, Mikhaila Peterson wrote:
“Wow. @jordanbpeterson got a Twitter strike. No more twitter until he deletes the tweet. Definitely not a free speech platform at the moment @elonmusk.”
Elon Musk responded to a comment on July 5, 2022, that discussed Peterson’s ban.
The user stated: “BTW, did you see that JBP was recently banned from the bird app? Strange times.”
Musk replied saying: “Yeah, they’re going way too far in squashing dissenting opinions.”

Newsweek reported in January that Peterson had seemingly defended Joe Rogan after scientists penned an open letter debunking some of Joe Rogan’s claims on the Covid-19 virus.
In a Twitter post, Peterson wrote, “Joe Rogan: King of Misinformation. That’s why so many people prefer him to CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS (which never lie or dissimulate) @JoeRogan Leave him alone @Spotify and censors everywhere.”
Why did Dr Jordan Peterson previously leave Twitter?
Peterson announced he was leaving Twitter after receiving backlash for his negative tweet about Sports Illustrated’s cover plus-size model.
In the tweet posted on May 16, Peterson included a photo of the model, Yumi Nu, and wrote, “Sorry. Not beautiful. And no amount of authoritarian tolerance is going to change that.”
Only hours after posting the comment, Peterson followed up in a series of tweets saying he was leaving the platform after experimenting with staying off Twitter for three weeks.
He wrote that he had his staff stay active on his account, but added that stepping back from Twitter “was a genuine relief.”
He added: “I started to read & write more. I started using it again, a few days ago, and I would say that my life got worse again almost instantly.”
He added, “The endless flood of vicious [insults] is really not something that can be experienced anywhere else.
“I like to follow the people I know but I think the incentive structure of the platform makes it intrinsically and dangerously insane.
“So I told my staff to change my password, to keep me from temptation, and am departing once again. If I have something to say I’ll write an article or make a video.
“If the issue is not important enough to justify that then perhaps it would be best to just let it go.”
Peterson says he will be publishing an article that will delve further into his reasons for leaving Twitter.
What are Dr Peterson’s previous health issues?
In 2020, Mikhaila Peterson, the daughter of Dr. Peterson, told The Sun in an interview that her dad caught Covid-19 in a Serbian hospital whilst recovering from an over-reliance on the anti-anxiety drug Benzodiazepine.
She said, “He was put on a whole bunch of, kind of preemptively, he was put on anti-virals and things.
“I don’t know if that was necessary, because his symptoms weren’t that bad — he didn’t have a cough, he had a mild fever, but they just put him on everything.
Mikhaila also said her father is suffering from pneumonia, the second time this year he has fought the illness.

“And so now we’ve had a step back in his recovery. Life is just not good, things are not good right now. “
She added, “He’ll get better, but he’s definitely taken a step back and it’s just really unfortunate… it’s been a disaster.”
