Who was Josh Neuman’s girlfriend?

Prior to his tragic death, Neuman was in a relationship with North Carolina State University student Ansley Norman for over three years.

He was often seen showing off his girl on social media to his 170,000 followers.

Outside of her relationship, little information is available on Norman as she tends to stay out of the public eye and has her social media accounts set to private.

What happened to Josh Neuman?

Neuman was among four people who were killed in an Iceland plane crash.

The aircraft left the Icelandic capital Reykjavik on February 3, 2022, but never returned and days later four bodies were found in Lake Thingvallavatn.

“Josh represents the side of humanity we all strive to achieve. The way he not just touched but impacted lives was on a scale of its own,” his family said in a statement.

“In his 22 years on this earth, Josh didn’t just live life, he was life, and he lived every day to the fullest extent possible while being kind to everyone.

“Josh was a doer, a dreamer and a gentle soul that saw the world through an opportunistic lens and took advantage of every moment while inspiring millions along the way.”

At this time, it still remains unclear what happened to Neuman’s plane as it reportedly did not send a distress signal after disappearing from radar.

The bodies of the four individuals were found at depths of up to 157 feet and crews had to use submarine and sonar technology to help recover them.

In a statement, Suspicious Antwerp said: “We are enormously distressed by the news and our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends.

“We are in close contact with them, as well as the authorities, and we’re doing everything we can to assist them during these difficult times.”

What did Ansley Norman say about Josh’s death?

Following Neuman’s passing, Norman took to her Instagram story and released a statement talking about the pain she has been feeling.

“My relationship with god and faith in general has been really rocky since leaving high school. Growing up in a Catholic school was sometimes very stifling and felt as though certain beliefs were forced upon me” she wrote according to VimBuzz.

“Ever since coming to college it’s been really easy to lose connection with what once consumed my life on a day to day basis. I question everyday what I believe.

“Is there a heaven? Is there a god? Are they woman or man? Is there just an energy beyond & a place where all our souls float eternally in peace and love with each other?

“I try to maintain hope that there is life beyond the grave. Otherwise what’s the point, do we serve any purpose ? Josh showed me that we do…living everyday with a loving intent, the desire to give back to others & make the world a better place whether it be through big or little things,” she continued.

“I remember the first time you took me to church with your family & I gave myself up to God and it was one of the most emotional experiences I’ve ever had.

“I’m struggling to understand why these horrible things happen but I’ve always been an avid believer that everything happens for a reason so I’m trying to remember that…

“Even though faith is a journey & I may have fallen off the beaten path, I know you’d want me to believe in a heaven. In a world in which you are resting peacefully bombing every hill you can.

“I believe you’ve given me multiple signs already (absolutely insane signs that have shown me you’re watching over us this weekend) which have helped rekindle my faith already & those I get to keep in my heart forever. I’ll always find you in the small things,” she concluded.
