It was highlighted by TikTok user @emmastallabrass, who also goes by Emma online, in an upload posted in July 2022.
Emma said that the nifty shortcut is great for parents whose kids are a little overzealous with the download button.
Sky Q and Sky+ let you download content onto your TV so that you can watch it later.
It means you can catch your favourite shows and movies any time you want – even without an internet connection.

If you’re not careful, however, the amount of content stored on your box can quickly add up.
Before you know it, you have hundreds of shows clogging up your storage space.
If your box’s memory is filled to the brim, it can’t store more content, depriving you of one of Sky’s best features.
Some users are unaware that you can delete content in bulk instead of wiping episodes or movies individually.

In her video, Emma showed how to do that in a few simple button presses.
To delete episodes individually, press the Sky button at the top of your Sky remote to access your recordings.
Scroll across to the recording you want to remove and select it. Then scroll across and select delete.
To delete all recordings of a TV show, scroll down to Sort By and then select A-Z.
Scroll down to the TV show you want to remove and swipe right. Select Delete All and then Confirm.

Should you wipe a show by accident, you can undelete it to return it to you library.
Go to Manage > Deleted. Scroll down and select a recording. Swipe right to select undelete or delete permanently.
