Lady Gaga is kissing and telling — well, as far as an onscreen rendezvous with “House of Gucci” co-star Salma Hayek goes. In a January panel discussion, Gaga – who plays Patrizia Reggiani, an Italian socialite convicted of hiring a hitman to kill her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver) – revealed that Ridley Scott’s fashion thriller edited out a sex scene between her and Hayek. “There is a whole side of this film that you did not see,” Gaga tantalizingly said to the audience at the panel.
By Gaga’s account, Hayek’s character Giuseppina “Pina” Auriemma — Patrizia’s ex-best friend and the hitman conspiracy’s convicted “middle woman,” per the Daily Mail – developed ” a “sexual relationship” with Gaga’s Patrizia. “I remember being on set with Selma and going, ‘So … after Mauricio dies, maybe it gets hot,'” Gaga shared, to which Hayek cheekily added, “You think she’s kidding.”
Having left that image in the audience’s mind, Gaga also praised Scott for “allowing us to go there” and suggested that the sexy sequence could be included in a “director’s cut.” Well, we await with bated breath.
