Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton were in no rush to share their big news. On November 5, 2021, Hartnett and the British actor wed in a secret ceremony in London, The Sun reported on March 5. “They’re as smitten as ever and wanted to make it official in a low-key affair,” an insider said. “It was a classy ceremony with only a handful of close family and friends.” The couple chose the perfect venue for a secret wedding, as the Soho Room at The Old Marylebone Town Hall seats only 12 people, the report detailed.
“They’re really happy living a low-key life away from showbiz parties and red-carpets so are happy to fly under the radar,” the source added. While the couple had kept the official news to themselves, Egerton uploaded a photo to Instagram that month that showed her wearing what appeared to be a wedding band with her engagement ring.
Hartnett and Egerton become romantically involved when they co-starred in the 2013 adventure film “The Lovers,” according to Closer. Even though it took them nearly a decade together to tie the knot, they always knew it would happen. “Marriage is something that’s going to happen, but we’re focusing on children at the moment,” Egerton said in 2018, according to The Sun. “The kids are very young — one just turned one and the other one is two-and-half.” They welcomed their third child before marrying, but looks like the right time arrived nonetheless.
