Publicly, it seems all is well between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the royal family, with a spokesperson telling Newsweek previously, “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honored to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children.”
But tensions may already be running high with the announcement that since the California residents are no longer working members of the royal family, they have not been asked to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Trooping the Colour alongside Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three kids. Still, Meghan and Harry are expected to attend some of the festivities, with Harry having said before the visit that the family was in the process of evaluating security concerns before committing to anything specific.
Now, security experts are talking about where the Sussex family may be while the rest of the family is in the spotlight.
